The Drone Hero Europe contest is open to everyone based in Europe: students, research institutions, organizations, startups and companies developing or implementing drone solutions. The presented business case can consist of hardware, software or service solutions, or any combination of the above.
The contest is divided into 3 different awards. The jury will vote an International Drone Hero, a Startup Drone Hero and an Innovative Drone Hero. Every participant will be assigned to and compete in a single category. These awards are an additional asset to convince local and foreign prospect of your proficiency. Not only does it bring you fame, it makes you and your staff a proud team. It is also a unique opportunity to step into the international spotlight.
International Drone Hero
This Drone Hero had the largest potential to become a respected player in the international drone industry.
Startup Drone Hero
This Drone Hero is the best startup, meaning the organisation has recently started a new successful concept.
Innovative Drone Hero
This Drone Hero will be rewarded for its outstanding performances regarding developing innovative technology.
The grand finale
When nominated as a finalist, participants will have to give a pitch presentation during the Amsterdam Drone Week in December 2021. The ultimate winners will then be announced during the closing event of the exhibition. This gives the finalists the opportunity to pitch in front of a relevant audience and present their products and services to potential customers or partners.
The jury consitst of multiple international drone experts with a significant background in drone technology or business architecture. They will judge every contestant based on their 3 minute video and pitch presentation to eventually vote a winner in all three categories.
